Rules & Recommendations

At Paws Outdoors we pride ourselves on providing the very best care for your dog. We have a strict code of ethics, and expectations to ensure that your dog is always kept safe and is returned home happy and content. This means that we have a few Rules & Regulations for all our clients.

Rules...

  • All dogs participating in our off-leash outings MUST be social with both humans and other dogs. They should be dependable off-leash, which means we cannot accept high-prey dogs or those that may wander off unexpectedly. While we focus on recall and engagement, safety for your dog and the group is our priority so these behaviors are not appropriate for our outings. If you're having difficulty with any of these issues, please reach out as we can connect you with some excellent trainers who can help you.

  • All dogs that attend our walks MUST have properly fitted collars. We recommend a high quality flat-buckle collar, or a martingale collar for their safety.

Recommendations...

  • Please ensure that your dog is able to toilet well before their pick up time.

  • We recomend that dogs are not fed two hours prior to their outing, due to car sickness, and more importantly serious ailments such as bloat.
